HOUSEHOLD SPLITS IN THE TRIBULATION

In the end times, there will be household splits. And these will be for many different reasons, and the Lord has sent me today to address the saints and the fact that their hearts will be torn, heartbroken, they will feel guilty and so on. The Lord cares, but He’s also wanting you to correctly assess the situation and how you should feel in these cases.
  1. Be prepared for Desertion
1 Corinthians 7:12-15
Desertion- the man or woman is not under bondage in this case.
Desertion: The abandonment without consent or legal justification of a person, post or relationship and the associated duties and obligations.
The guilt you feel, the disappointment in your loved ones, though natural, do not dwell on it.  It may surprise you in the end, who will stand with you and stand for the Lord.  A spouse may desert you, not just unbelieving spouses.
The Lord’s servants must not strive, must not gender quarrels, must not follow things that lead into temptation or more ungodliness.
Just as Jesus had a multitude leave Him, so we must be prepared for people to leave us.
Count the cost my brethren, brothers and sisters,
Those who put their hand to the plough, and not turn back, are fit for the kingdom
He says, my heart has no pleasure in those who draw back.

2. Be prepared for Betrayal
A man's enemies will be those of his own household. (Matthew 10:36)
Sons against father
Daughters against mother
There will be such a dichotomy that they will not be able to cohabitate in the same house.
As it was in the days of Noah, and Lot, not everyone in the household will escape or be rescued. Lot’s son-in-laws laughed at him and thought he was joking. Only a few went with him to the mountain. (Genesis 19)
They won’t all be rescued in the day of the Lord, in the day of trouble, nor in the day of the plagues, when bowls of wrath are poured out. They will be victims of these things, but that’s why God says when we get to heaven He will wipe every tear from our eyes, because what we will have seen will be hard for us to bear. (Matthew 24:13)
But He’s showing me that there will be the household splits.  Not everyone will be going with us, not everyone will go.
Spirit of Delusion- 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
And so it will be at the marriage supper of the Lamb.  Who will be at that table? Who will feast with the Lord?
Now, God doesn’t want any to perish, not one. That’s why He sent His Son, but the enemy will seek to snuff out people one by one. Especially with the enticement of taking the mark of the beast.
3. The Choice for God: Who is on the Lord’s Side?
Whoever is choosing the Lord’s side, must also be prepared for “well-meaning” Christians to pull you in the opposite direction.  They will seek for you to “see reason” and not follow Christ. That eating His body and drinking His blood, is too much.  Those same “Christians” who took communion all their lives when it was in the comfort of a padded pew church, will try to convince you that you are following the Lord too far.
And as it says in Corinthians, who knows oh husband whether you will save your wife? Or oh wife whether you will save your husband….you may depart from them in faith, and they may change their mind later because of your stand for the Lord.  The Lord is asking you today, Can you walk alone?
Matthew 19:29 BSB
And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for the sake of My name will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.
Can you leave all that is near and dear to you, all that you’ve known your whole entire life, to follow Him and end up with a completely new family?
If you say yes, prepare for heartbreak, persecution, as well as God’s blessing and supernatural provision.
He is still Jehovah-Jireh and I AM THAT I AM, and He will provide for you on the path that you take for Him, but on this side, before Heaven, it may be daily manna. The same food daily,
Can you consume that dry morsel, and holiness with it? Or will you desire the leeks and onions of Egypt? The house full of feasting and strife. (feast with commotion with it)
Proverbs 17:1
Better is a dry morsel and quietness with it Than a house full of feasting with strife. (NASB)
