Genesis 15:13-16 KJV

Iniquity of the Amorites was not yet full

13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

15 And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

Saul & killing the Amalekites

1 Samuel 15:1-3 ESV

15 And Samuel said to Saul, “The Lord sent me to anoint you king over his people Israel; now therefore listen to the words of the Lord. 2 Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘I have noted what Amalek did to Israel in opposing them on the way when they came up out of Egypt. 3 Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction[a] all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”

15 Samuel also said unto Saul, The Lord sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the Lord.

2 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.

3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

THE 7000

Then we have the 7000 who didn’t bow the knee to Baal

God always has a witness!!

The 7000 weren’t mentioned until Elijah cried out to God

THE RECHABITES: JEREMIAH 35

Malachi 3:16 NASB- book of remembrance

16 Then those who [a]feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listened attentively and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who [b]fear the Lord and esteem His name.

God is not slack concerning his promises as some men count slackness.

2 Peter 3:9 KJV

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance

He opened my ears that I may sustain the weary one with a word

Isaiah 50:4 NASB

The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of disciples, So that I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple.

My people are weary, and this is a word of encouragement to give them to endure to the end, to combat weariness

WOTL (7/23/23)

My people, I know that you have become weary, weary in well-doing.  Know that I see you, and your work is not done in vain.  Your efforts are not done in vain.  My reward is with me!

I will reward you in due time.  In the fulness of time I brought my son, thus in like manner, in the fulness of time, I will anoint you, cause you to breakthrough.

Be comforted My people with these words

Comfort, comfort my people - Isaiah 40:1-5

Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.

2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.
