THE DESENTIZATION OF THE PROPHETIC

The WOTL was precious in those days, and so it is the same today!

In an earlier video, I had a prophetic word for the prophets, specifically the true prophets of God.  (linked below) The Word was:

Maintain your integrity.  Do not worry about whether you’re deemed false or true, or how things look. Just keep your head down and continue to do what the Lord has called you to do.  Maintain your integrity.

I wasn’t able at that time to elaborate on things, but I spoke of the sea of prophetic voices among us, up and coming and previous.  There is God’s plan for the prophets and the enemy’s plan for the prophets.

In one sense, the Lord said He would pour out His spirit on all flesh, in the last days…

Your sons and daughters will prophesy….

Joel 2:28

But in contrast it also says, (Matt.24:24) Jesus said Many false prophets will arise and deceive many….

Many will come in My name saying, I am the Christ.  He said Believe it not.

Father God has His agenda in the last days and He needs to see it through using the available and faithful vessels He has waiting on Him, at His disposal.  Regardless of anything else, His agenda must go forth!  Jesus said, (Matt.16:18) Upon this Rock I build My church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

Now, not losing sight of the main thing, that being: THE GREAT COMMISSION to win souls, convert sinners to Christ, we must remember that the enemy wants to greatly bring confusion to the church.

In a multitude of “prophetic voices”, it may seem like there are many, but in actuality there are few, when you examine the roles, and what fruit they are bringing forth.

  • They must bear fruit in keeping with repentance.
  • They must edify the body, build up the body for the work of the ministry

Edification, Exhortation & Comfort (1 Corinthians 14:3)

Edification-"the process by which believers are built up, that is, progressively advanced in knowledge and holiness.
The Greek words oikodomeo, "to build," oikodome, "the act of building," are used both literally and figuratively in the New Testament; "edify," (Source: Bible Study Tools)
Exhortation- to “strongly encourage or urge someone to do something”—have the sense of pushing forward. Its origins are Latin from “thoroughly”
the Greek word translated "exhortation" (paraklesis) signifies, originally, "a calling near or for" (as an advocate or helper who should appeal on one's behalf)
Exhortation is to exhort someone or to urge by a strong, often stirring argument, admonition, advice, or appeal (Source: Patheos)
Comfort-COMFORT, v.t.. 1. To strengthen; to invigorate; to cheer or enliven. Light excelleth in comforting the spirits of men. (Source: KJV Dictionary)

3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. 4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. 5 I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied;for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification.
(1 Corinthians 14:3-5 NKJV)
For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
(1 Corinthians 14:33 NKJV)

So God’s plan and purpose is to ensure that these things occur so that His plan can go forth. For us to have dominion so we can advance the kingdom, take territories for Him.

The enemy wants to bring confusion, so that with so many voices, people won’t know who to follow and why, and so people will “throw the baby out with the bath water” so to speak, and totally miss the word of the Lord for a season, for a generation.

Why is this important? Because perilous times are coming my friend, and people will be looking for answers.  The prophets with the “sons of Issachar” anointing, or prophets rightly positioned with an ear, and a heart to hear the voice of the Lord, will aptly have the answers.  It takes a Moses to navigate choppy waters and go through the Red Sea.  It takes a “Joshua” to cause us to cross over and see us through to the other side.

So to DESENSITIZE  means to: : to make (a sensitized or hypersensitive individual) insensitive or nonreactive to a sensitizing agent
2: to make emotionally insensitive or callous
specifically  : to extinguish an emotional response (as of fear, anxiety, or guilt) to stimuli that formerly induced it
Miriam Webster
-to cause someone to experience something, usually an emotion or a pain, less strongly than before:
Cambridge Dictionary

If the enemy can expose us to enough prophetic words, or prophets, then we could have a tendency to ignore it, and thus God’s true prophet’s voice will be muffled. Just like Jezebel tried to shut down, kill Elijah, the same is happening today in the spirit. The enemy is trying to silence the voice of the prophet by any means necessary!

But God, But God, But God! He is on our side as the breaker, to cause us to break through, to cause our voice to break through, in the lives of our children, our families, our church and our nation, and the world so that His purpose can come to pass!

He is actively engaging in making sure His messengers are a flame of fire, making sure His messengers are equipped so that they can further equip the saints of God, so they can reach their high calling in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray, to make sure we are hearing His voice clearly and not missing Him.  Not missing any agenda He may have for us on any given day or week.

We are co-labourers with Him in the vineyard! Let us partner with Him and stay on His task for us.  He said My sheep know My voice, and they follow Me.  The voice of a stranger they will not follow.
